Chess: free to play in your browser
Classic chess with neon pieces and full rules: castling, en passant, promotion, check, checkmate and draws.
Play against the computer at four levels, from an easy opponent that makes mistakes to an expert that will punish yours. Or pass the device back and forth and play a friend on the same screen. Stuck? Ask for a hint or undo your last move.
How to play
- Choose a computer level, or 2 Players to play a friend.
- You play the cyan pieces and move first.
- Tap a piece to see where it can go, then tap a highlighted square. You can also drag pieces.
- Pawns that reach the far side become a queen.
