Jigsaw: free to play in your browser
A proper jigsaw, right in your browser. Every piece has real tabs and blanks, and when you drag one close to its spot it clicks into place.
There’s a new picture every day, and you can choose 12, 24 or 48 pieces depending on how much time you have. Turn the faint guide picture on or off, and press TIDY to sort the loose pieces when the table gets messy.
How to play
- Choose 12, 24 or 48 pieces, or Random Picture.
- Drag a piece onto the board. When it’s near the right spot it snaps in.
- Use the faint guide picture on the board to see where things go, or switch it off for a challenge.
- Press TIDY PIECES to lay the loose pieces out neatly again.
- Place every piece to finish. Your best time for each size is saved.
Game modes
- 12 pieces
- Today’s picture in big pieces. A quick, relaxing puzzle.
- 24 pieces
- Today’s picture in classic-sized pieces.
- 48 pieces
- Today’s picture in small pieces. A proper puzzle.
- Random picture
- A random picture in 24 pieces.
Tips
- Do the edges first. Pieces with a flat side belong on the border.
- Look for bright shapes and lines that cross piece edges, then match them up.
- Switch the guide off once you know the picture for more of a challenge.
- On a phone, hold it upright for a bigger board with the pieces underneath.
Questions
Is there a new jigsaw every day?
Yes. The picture changes every day, and it’s the same for everyone.
Do I need to rotate the pieces?
No. Pieces are always the right way up, so you only need to find where each one goes.
Can I play with a controller?
Yes. Move the hand with the stick or d-pad, press A to pick up and drop a piece, and B to show or hide the guide picture.
