Blast Zone: free to play in your browser
Blast Zone is a bomb battle for up to four players on one screen. Each round drops you into a walled maze packed with crates. Drop bombs to clear a path, collect the power-ups hiding inside, and trap your rivals in the blast. The last bot standing takes the round, and the first to win three rounds wins the match.
It is built for couch multiplayer: two players can share a keyboard, and up to four can play with controllers. Playing alone? Take on three CPU bots on normal or hard, or fill the empty slots with two CPU players for a four-way party.
How to play
- Pick a mode from the menu: 2, 3 or 4 players, 2 players plus 2 CPU, or you against 3 CPU.
- Move through the maze with the stick, d-pad, WASD or the arrow keys.
- Drop a bomb with A on a controller, Space for player 1 or Enter for player 2.
- Step out of the bomb's cross-shaped blast before it goes off – your own flames will knock you out too.
- Blow up crates to reveal power-ups: B adds an extra bomb, F makes your blast longer, S speeds you up.
- Survive to win the round; first to three round wins takes the match.
Game modes
- 2, 3 or 4 Players
- Head-to-head battles for friends on one screen. Players 3 and 4 need controllers.
- 2 Players + 2 CPU
- Two humans and two CPU bots in a four-way scramble, good for mixed-skill groups.
- Vs 3 CPU (Normal or Hard)
- Solo play against three bots. Hard bots react faster, bomb more aggressively and rarely trap themselves.
Tips
- Before you drop a bomb, check you have an open escape route that turns a corner – blasts only travel in straight lines.
- Bombs set off other bombs in their blast, so one well-placed bomb can trigger a chain across the maze.
- Collect F power-ups early: you start with a blast reach of two tiles, and a longer reach makes trapping opponents much easier.
- Bombs block movement, so dropping one in a corridor can cut off a rival's escape.
- Each round lasts 100 seconds. After that, sudden death fills the arena with walls from the outside in, so head for the centre.

Is Blast Zone free, and do I need to download anything?
It is completely free and runs in your browser with no download or sign-up.
Can I play with a controller?
Yes. Xbox, PlayStation and Switch Pro controllers all work, along with keyboard. On phones and iPads you get on-screen arrows and a bomb button.
How many people can play?
Up to four on one screen. Two can share a keyboard (WASD and arrows); players 3 and 4 need a controller each. Empty slots can be filled with CPU bots.
What happens if everyone is knocked out at once?
Nobody scores that round and a fresh maze starts.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Press the "Save for offline" button on the game page to store it on your device.
