Glowball: free to play in your browser
Glowball is a neon pinball table you can play straight in your browser. Pull the plunger, launch the ball and keep it alive with three flippers while you rack up points off pop bumpers, slingshots, drop targets and a spinner.
Every shot feeds a bigger goal. Light the P·A·D lanes at the top to raise your bonus multiplier, knock down all five PARTY targets to open the WARP, then sink the ball in the WARP for multiball and a jackpot. You get three balls, and every point counts towards your best.
How to play
- Hold A on a controller, or Space or Down on the keyboard, to pull back the plunger. Release to launch. The longer you hold, the harder it fires.
- Flip with the shoulder buttons or triggers (LB/LT left, RB/RT right), Z and / on the keyboard, or the left and right arrow keys. On a tablet, tap the left or right half of the screen.
- The left button works both left flippers, including the small one halfway up.
- Roll through all three P·A·D lanes to raise the bonus multiplier, up to 5X.
- Drop all five green PARTY targets to open the WARP, then shoot the ball into the WARP for multiball and the jackpot.
- Knock down the orange targets to light ball save for a few seconds.
- Nudge with Y, W or Up to shake the ball loose, but nudge too often and the table tilts and you lose your bonus.
Game modes
- 3 Balls
- A classic game of three balls. Your bonus is paid out at the end of each ball, multiplied by your multiplier. Reach 500,000 points for an extra ball.
Tips
- Every new ball starts with a short ball save, so use those seconds to aim for the targets rather than playing safe.
- Hold a flipper up to catch the ball and stop it. Then release and flip when it rolls into position for an aimed shot.
- The WARP jackpot grows every time you collect it and is multiplied by your bonus multiplier, so light the lanes before you go for multiball.
- The spinner on the right scores more the faster the ball goes through it.
- Don't nudge more than a couple of times in a row: the DANGER warning means one more will tilt the table.
Questions
Is Glowball free, and do I need to download anything?
It is completely free and runs in your browser on laptops, desktops, tablets and phones. There is nothing to install and no account needed.
Can I play pinball with a controller?
Yes. Xbox, PlayStation and Switch Pro controllers work automatically: shoulder buttons or triggers flip, A pulls the plunger and Y nudges.
How do I get multiball?
Knock down all five green PARTY targets on the left to open the WARP in the middle of the table, then shoot the ball into it.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Press Save for offline on the game page while you are online, and Glowball will keep working on that device without an internet connection.
